Verice Walz was installed as organist by Mrs. Hillman. I he ways and means committee were urged to find a project, sponsored by the chapter in the near future. Protcms were Robert Hillman and Bette Wolfenbarger. Hosting the social hour were Vivian Williams, Neva Klinedinst and Retta Williams. LINCOLN TWP. CLUB MEETS Ihe Lincoln Township Homemakers Extension Club met at the Walkerton Community Building on Tuesday, April 4 with a pot luck dinner at 12:30. It being guest day. there were 17 members and 16 guests present Following the delicious dinner the business meeting was called to order by Mrs. Hazel Arseneau. The secretary read her report followed by roll call that was answered by the intnuluction of the guests. Letters were read and the treasurer gave the financial report. A white elephant sale was held with Mrs. Martha Mull being the auctioneer. The afternoon ended with everyone having a good time. Reservations were taken for the upcoming Spring Fling on April 25 in South Bend. Cancer sewing will be on April 12 with the new cancer chairman presiding. I he next meeting will be held at the Youth Building on May 2 as the election will be held in the Community Building for the primary. Plans for the trip to Holland. Michigan will be made at this meeting.
