Music Concert Is Set For Sunday. April 30 Here Ihe John Glenn High Sc hool Music Department will pr ,ent a combined Band and ( hon ( oncert on Sunday. April 30 at 3:00 p.m. Ilie concert is being held concur rently with the In Kappa Art Show, so come early and browse through the fine display of art work in the John Glenn cafeteria. The Concert Band, (oncert ( hoir, Jazz Band, and Swing Choirs will be featured on this concert. playing music of main different styles and periods. Selections vary from ( lassual to Rock. I h< John Glenn ( hoirs arc directed by Mrs. Mars Pat Glaub, and the Bands are conducted bv Mr. Den ms I Bloomfield. In addition to the High School Performing groups listed above, there will be "Between the Acts" performances bv select John Glenn students. The concert will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. in the John Glenn auditorium. Admission to the con cert is $1 SU for Adults and ”s.cents for students, with a maximum family charge of $5.00. Senior citizens (age 65 and over) will be admitted free of charge. A large crowd is expected tor this concert so come early if vou want a good seat Viewing Os Arts & Crafts Show Is Extended Ihe public showing of the 19 8 Arts and ( rafts Contest will be ex tended one hour to allow tor viewing after the concert by the John Glenn High School band and choirs. Band Awards Banquet Set For Monday Night I he P I J Band Boosters Award Banquet will be held on Mondav, April 1 at John Glenn High School. A carry-in dinner will begin the evening at 6:30 in the dining commons with the awards to be announced and presented in the audi torium at 8:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
