Celebrate 50th Anniversary B. * y f I ■■■ Mr. and Mrs. Everett Henry, Route 1.59974 Mayflower Road, South Bend, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, March 10 with a family dinner. Everett and Irene Martin, of South Bend, were married on March 10, 1928, in Walkerton and moved to their present address in 1953. He worked for more than 47 years at the Studebaker Corp. The Henry's have a daughter. Mrs. Thomas (Catherine) Box, of South Bend; a son. George Henry, of North Liberty; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Lester O'Hara. Route 5, Walkerton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from two to five o’clock on Sunday, April 2 at the Tyner 1.0.0 F. laxlgc. The former Helen Hayn and Lester O'Hara were united in marriage on March 29, 1928, by Rev. Dewey E. Rowe. Mr. Fuentes is currently employed with Amtrack, in Niles, Michigan. An October 7 wedding is being planned. NOTICE Due to the energy situation, the non-credit adult education classes at John Glenn High School will not be starting during the week of March 27. As long as the energy situation remains serious, there will not be any non-credit classes. As soon as the energy problem improves, the adult recreation, knitting. and gourmet cooking classes will be resumed if there is enough class time left in the school year. If these classes can be rescheduled this year, there will be notices in the paper and announcements on the radio.
