Receiving the prestigious gold key award were David Fenstcrmacher, Gerald Hahn, Jixiv Lowry, Dick Jones and Brian Parker (not pictured). Jones, a sophomore, was one of five in the area whose work was nominated for the Hallmark Honor Prize. National judges will select the winner for the region. February Has Been Busy For Nursing Home February Monday night church services were held by Rev. Hodson, Rev. Hughes and Rev. Moreillon. Res. Corbett was here on February 12 for a Sunday service. The ladies from the North Liberty Church of Christ brought devotions and song on Februarv 7 to our residents. We had Bible Study every Friday at 1 30 given by Helen Wenta. from the North Liberty Churvh of Christ Ihe Presbyterian Ladies were hereon February 14. to play for us during the lunch hour, and to bring devotions. The afternoon of the 14 we had a movie. “Danger Point". Then after school the United Methodist Youth Group came and gave valentines to all our residents. We want to thank everyone who has helped us during the illness of our Activities Director. Jo Drews. She is doing better but is still quite ill in the Osteopathic Hospital in South Bend. Family Night Service Sunday In Walkerton "Second Genesis.” a youth musical group from the Walkerton Presbyterian Church. 512 Georgia Street, will sing at a Family Night service this Sunday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. Instrumental and group singing will also be featured at this service. The church choir will be directed by Lois Ross. "Second Genesis" sings contemporary sacred music and uses live instrumentation and taped background music. The group chose the name "Second Genesis" because it represents the new beginning that is possible with Jesus Christ. Under the direction of Pastor David Barnett, group members are Kathy Rohrer, Tom Nunley, Donna Klopfenstein, Tod Wathen, Gerald Hahn, Pat Perry, Bob Frame. Mashelle Pavey and Debbie Kronk. Family Night is free and open to all people in the community .
