Their opponents were the then 15th ranked Rilex Wildcats who were also awesome. The Wildcats clawed, scratched and chewed up the outclassed Shamrocks 89-45. Riley showed quickly how things were going to go when they took the opening tip-off for a slam dunk. This one missed however, but they

were to score 17 straight before the ShamriKks could score. Gene Davis made the front end of a onc-and-one at 2:3". The Wildcats continued until Todd Allsop made a lax in w ith 20 seconds left for North Liberty's first field goal out of 14 attempts. The second period saw the Shamnxks finally finding the range a little better scoring 14 points, but Riley scored 23. The halftime score w as 48-1". This was not a dassicly played ballgame by Riley either as they committed lots of turnovers and fouls but the cold shooting ShamriKks were unable to cash in on the errors. The Riley coach substituted freely trxing to hold down the score but the superior depth was just tixi much for the ShamriKks. The game ended as it began, with a stull shot by Greg Williams. In 19^6 one million cars were stolen. Os those, only 69 per cent were recovered. In 1965 the recovery rate was 90 per cent. The average value of the unrecovered vehicles is $2,000. To help prevent your car from being stolen, the Chicago Motor Club-AAA advises the follow ing: Lock your car whether it's in your own driveway or far away from home. If you have a garage, lock it in your garage and then lock the garage. If you leave your car in a parking lot don't leave the keys. Park the car yourself and take your keys with you. It’s too easy to have a key copied. Never leave anything of value — CB. coat, camera, etc. — in plain view in your vehicle. It’s an open invitation to the car thief. The Motor Gub further warned that cars are often stolen from large shopping center or apartment complex lots where many people come and go at all hours, and urged drivers to take extra care when using these facilities. Moat live wires would be dead without connections. NO ANSWER Today's mystery is why the citizens of a century ago kicked so much about high taxes.
