Mr. and Mrs. Mark Fenstermacher and son Bryon spent a week here with their parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Fenstermacher and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Chapman. Mark is in his last year of seminary in Nebane. North Carolina, and the local United Methodist Church had the privilege of having him as a guest minister in their service last Sunday. Miss Heide and Mr. Edwin Fenstermacher were both home from college during the holidays. Heidi returning on Monday and Edwin left early last week to be a part of the group known as the Wandering Wheels that left for a six weeks trip to the southwest part of United States. Last week visitors on two days were Mrs. Robert D. Milner, of Plymouth, and Mrs. William Malone. of Renscllear, Indiana, of Mrs. J. C. Milner. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Schwarzentraub, of Koontz Lake, spent an afternoon in the Milner home last week. New Year’s eve was a happy time for a group in the home of Mr. and Mrs Herald Hostetler starting with a six o'clock dinner and ending in the year of 1978. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Shaw, of North Liberty, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Swihart and family, of Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs Ronald Hostetler and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Roy Hahn and family, Mrs. Helen Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Skinner. Miss Ethel Bierly was a New Year's day guest with Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bierly and family. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Drews and sons. Mr. and Mrs. John Drews and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Al Drews, Mrs. Gary Clark and Holly, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Smith and daughters, of South Bend, were in Bryan, Texas on December 16 to attend the wedding so Cole Hick man, grandson of Mr and Mrs. Al Drews. Jr., Rural Route 1, Walkerton, is among 971 Ball State University students who completed work for degrees at the end of the fall quarter and are eligible to participate in the May 19 commencement. Those including degrees include seven doctoral cindidates, 201 graduate scholars and 363 baccalaureate or associate degree students. Bulling earned his Master of Arts in school psychometry.
