EDWARD ANDREW ZYWCZAK Funeral services for Edward An drew Zywczak. b 3. of 603 Maple Street. North Liberty, who died at 500 p.m on Wednesday. December ", when he suffered a heart attack at the Bendix Corp, where he had been employed for 29 years, were held at 11 00 am. on Saturday in the A M Manuel Funeral Home. North Liberty, with Rev. Gaylord Saltzgabcr. pastor of the North Liberty United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Eastlawn Cemetery. North Liberty. He was born on February 15. 1914. in Chicago. He mamed Martha Charlene Nunn on June 30. 1945. in Chicago, who survives. He lived in North Liberty for 29 years coming from Chicago. He was a member of Local 9. United Auto Workers. Surviving along with his wife are three sisters. Mrs. Stephanie Rupp, of Wonder Lake. Illinois. Mrs. Josephine Mansfield, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Mrs. Irene Nickpon, of Frankliln Park. Illinois; and three brothers. Frank Halas, of Lisle. Illinois. Steven Zywczak. of Cyprus. California, and Joseph Zywczak. of Decatur. Illinois. EMMA B. WARD Funeral services for Mrs. Emma B Ward. 78. Koontz Lake, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Rannells Funeral Home. Hamlet, with Rev Ralph Jones, pastor of the Grovertown United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial follow ed at the Grovertown Cemetery. Mrs. Ward died at 6:40 p.m. Saturday in the LaPorte Hospital after an illness of two months. Chicago. She was married December 5. 1919 in Chicago to Leslie J Ward, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter. Mrs BeverIv Irish. Brodbecker. Pa.; a son, Leslie Jr.. Elmhurst, III.; seven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Jay and Lu Scott are the parents of a baby boy born on December 6 in Nuremburg, Germany. He weighed nine pounds and has been named Jacob Joseph. Mrs. Scott is the former Lu Seiner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Seiner, North Liberty. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jagla are the proud parents of a daughter born on December 11 in Lafayette. Indiana. Mrs. Jagla is the former Delores Barden. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Barden. Walkerton. CHRISTMAS CANTATA TO BE PRESENTED AT N.L. METH ODIST CHURCH A Christmas cantata. “The Christmas Song of Songs," by Ira Wilson, will be presented Sunday, December 18. at the morning worship service, 9:30 am., at the North Liberty United Methodist Church. The cantata is directed by Mrs. Madelyn Nelson. Organist is Mrs. Carolyn Shupcrt and pianist is Mrs. Juanity Manuel. Soloists include Wendy Weber. Becky Burch, Elaine Wagner and Jim Johnson. The public is invited to join our worship and hear this beautiful musical. TO PRESENT CANTATA THIS SUNDAY The North Libertv Church of Christ choir, under the direction of Mrs. Wilda Henry, will present a Christmas cantata entitled. "Down From His Glory." by John W. Peterson, on Sunday, December 18, at 7:30 p.m. The choir consists of 20 members who have been working very hard to make this program of music one to long be remembered.
