Mrs. Kenneth Klinedinst, vocalist, both of Walkerton. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Ochs, Route 3. Box 829. Walkerton. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom W. Carr. Sr., of North Liberty. The bride, escorted by her father, chose for her wedding a candlelight qiana knit floor length gown with Venise lace at the bodice and on the sleeves accented with pearls, featuring a chapel length train trimmed with Venise lace and pearls. She wore a waltz length veil of illusion trimmed with lace and pearls and a pearl headpiece. She carried apricot carnations on a background of baby's breath and ming fern. Matron of honor was Mrs. Tim Boyle, New Jersey, and the bridesmaid was Miss Shai Kincaid, cousin of the bride. New Carlisle. They were attired in apricot knit floor length gowns accented with chiffon floral jackets and carried bouquets of yellow and apricot carnations accented with baby’s breath and ming fern. Pat Moon. Walkerton, served as best man. Craig Ochs, brother of the bride. Walkerton, was the groomsman and ushers were Darwin Beron and Mike Schlarb, both of North Liberty. A reception was held in the LaPaz Community Building with the Presbyterian Women’s Association serving a buffet luncheon to approximately 135 guests. Miss

Myrna Dipert, Walkerton, registered the guests and Mrs. Mike Schlarb. North Liberty, cut and served the cake. A honeymoon trip to Florida and the Bahamas was taken. The couple is now at home on Route 4, Walkerton. The bride is a graduate of John Glenn High School and is employed at the Bendix Corp., South Bend. The groom is a graduate of North Liberty High School and is employed at Metalstamp. South Bend. O.E.S. NEWS Walkerton Chapter 319 Order of the Eastern Star held their first fall meeting on September 6. Worthy Matron Elizabeth Reed greeted all with a beautiful though entitles, “Never Alone". Many reports of illnesses and distress, rummage sale and bake sale, plus the inspection that occured while the chapter was dark brought members up to date on past events.
