Glenn Mike Morris, Glenn Erick Carlson, Fairfield Steve Dill, Glenn Adult Education Begins Monday At John Glenn Registration is now in progress for the adult education classes being held at John Glenn High School. People who are interested in attending classes are encouraged to pre-enroll by either calling the office at John Glenn High School or by sending their name and address and the name of the class or classes they want to the high school office. These classes are offered for adults who want to complete their high school education, and for those who want to learn new skills. All credit classes will be starting
during the week of September 12-16. Non-credit classes will be starting during the last week of September or later. Each credit class meets one night a week and starts at 7:00 p.m. Credit classes meeting on Monday are math, U. S. History, and accounting. Tuesdays credit classes are conversational Spanish, sociology, sewing, and welding. On Thursday night, art. English, and typing will be offered. Noncredit classes being offered this semester are knitting on Monday. September 26. hobby shop on Tuesday. September 27, and gourmet cooking on Thursday, September 29. Recreation for both men and women will be starting on Thursday. October 20. For more information, please call John Glenn High School office, phone 586-3195. NOTICE Blood Pressure and Diabetic Screening Tests will be done Thursday. September 15, from 9:00 a.m. until noon, at the Boulevard Gardens. 621 E. Michigan Blvd., Michigan City. It is not necessary to fast for the Diabetic Screening. Testing is preferred one to two hours after eating a regular meal. This program is open to the Public and free of charge. The LaPortc County Health Department Public Health Nurses are in charge of the program.
