CAROS eg. ■aoFHa«% IHANKS^^S Lhe North Liberty Merchants would like to take this opportunitv to thank the committee who they appointed to work on the Potato Creek Festival. Rev. Gaylord Salt/gaber was appointed chairman of the committee and other members were Virginia Rose, June Everman. Betty Peddycord. Barbara Zimmerle, Lyle McCormick. Charles Bare and Carl Kaser. This committee met many times together and worked hard to make our festival such a huge success. People came from Michigan, Illinois, southern Indiana, California and all seemed to enjoy visiting and shopping at the various stores and booths along the streets. Ice cold watermelon, potato soup, barbecued chicken and good old fashioned home made ice cream were some of the goodies enjoyed by the people who came along with the Dixie Walker Square Dancers who entertained the large crowd on Friday evening. Truly the weather was ideal and it was two great davs in North Liberty that will be remembered for a long time. Thanks again to the committee and all who helped in everyway to make this event possible. The North Liberty Business Association
