Visiting at the home of Paul and Gail Gunberg, of 68363 State Road 23. are Anthony and Connie Pacio. Mr. Pacio, the father of Gail, works at Azo Plate in Murray Hill, New Jersey. Mrs. Pacio, Gail's mother, works for the distinguished dermatologist Dr. Neil C. Franzese. During their seven-day stay, Mr. and Mrs. Pacio will be enjoying many Michiana attractions including the Elkhart County Fair, Chicago and the beaches of Lake Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. George Henry, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wentz and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner and a fine program of gospel music by the Christian Heirs quarter, of Elkhart, on Saturday evening at the Kopper Kettle, in Bremen. Barney Wentz was in charge of the talent program with various members of the church participating held last Sunday evening at the Church of Christ. A large crowd attended and all enjoyed the program and fellowship together. Mr. Home Balsley is back home from the LaPorte Hospital where he was taken for a heart attack. He is

Mrs. Mae Packer was a guest of Mrs. Marie Williams, in South Bend, on Sunday afternoon. STEELE REUNION The 77th Annual Reunion of the Steele Family was held on Sunday, July 17, at Stuntz Pine Forest, Walkerton, with 39 members in attendance. Miss Anna Steele, at 93 years of age, of Hamilton Grove Home, New Carlisle, was the oldest member present. The youngest present was Jennifer Steele, two years of age, of North Liberty. Traveling the greatest distance were Ruth Steele Holler and daughter, Julie, of South Beloit. Illinois. Officers elected for the coming year are: Grant Steele, of Walkerton, president; Robert Steele, of Mishawaka, vice-president; and Max Steele, of North Liberty, sec-retary-treasurer.
The 1978 reunion will be held at Stuntz Pine Forest on the third Sunday of July. WALKERTON Mr. and Mrs. Richard Murphy were in Indianapolis over Saturday and Sunday to visit their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Murphy. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gardner returned from a two week vacation in Florida. They went to visit their son Tim. who is on one of the keys and is employed by the Key West Citizen newspaper. Mrs. Elaine Fairbanks and daughter, Christie, of Indianapolis, were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Kennedy. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Shields and son, Mrs. Nellie Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Warner Clark and Mrs. Nora Hahn were at Pretty Lake Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Zumbaugh and daughter. This was a birthday party for Mr. Gark. Other guests from Plymouth were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Edison and family. Mrs. Mildred Jackson is a patient in Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Mrs. Hazel Flowers is still hospitalized in the LaPorte Hospital. Mr. Wayne Cover was a patient in Memorial Hospital but has been released and is home recuperating from a fall from a ladder which resulted in a broken heel. IN MEMORIUM In loving memory of Robert Piechocki, who was killed seven years ago. July 28, in a car-truck accident. We also remember Gene Miller and Larry Smid who died in the same accident. May you always walk in sunshine. God’s love around you glow for the happiness you brought us. no one will ever know. It broke out hearts to loose you but you did not go alone for part of us went with you. The day God called you home, our hearts still ache with sadness. Our eyes shed many a tear.
