day school enrollment AT 55 The North Liberty Church of , hrist Day School is very excited ~bout the way the Lord is blessing he school this year. With a little ver a month until school starts, he school has a record enrollment t 55 children at this time. The Day School was started by he leadership of the church three cars ago. The underlying purpose of the school is to give three, our and five year olds an opporinity to meet with children their wn age in a guided learning sitution of themselves in God’s world. Due to the increased enrollment, he school is considering adding , nd afternoon session for four and five year olds to be held on Mon;ay. Wednesday and Friday afterioons from 1:00 to 3:30. The cost tor the sessions will be $2.00 per lay plus a $5.00 entrance fee to wer workbooks and supplies. If ou are interested, please call the hurch at 656-4632. We still have openings for the three year olds, also. Their seston will be on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00. I he cost is $1.50 per day plus the $5.00 entrance fee. BETTER HOMES CLUB HOLDS PICNIC The Better Homes Extension Club held their annual picnic at the home of Mrs. Rick Ruby with assisting hostess Mrs. Clyde Stickley. Guests were Mrs. Florence Coldwell and Mrs. Leia Ruby. A short business meeting was held. The members were told that there is no trip or theatre party planned for August and that there will not be a meeting in August. Mrs. Branson Hiatt, who is one the Bake-Off Committee, urged all members to enter. The Bake-Off will be held on September 28 at the fairgrounds along with the Hobby and Craft Show. Entries for the Bake-Off must be in between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Mrs. Hiatt offered to take the items in for the Bake-Off and if you are interested or need more information call Mrs. Hiatt at 586-3624. On Saturday evening at 7:30 slides will be shown concerning the school and Mission. Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Rev. and Mrs. Sawyer will be speaking thru the Sunday School hour and after the 10:30 service. It is indeed a profitable and heart warming experience to learn about these neglected people, the first Americans. We are glad for the work done for these dear American Indians. If you haven't visited the Wesleyan Church, this is a good time. Come see, hear. You are so welcome. Following the morning service there will be a carry-in dinner at the Community Building.
