Mrs. Garland Jackson, of Georgetown, Kentucky, was a luncheon guest of Mrs. Vesta DeCoudreson Saturday. Mrs. Eunice Frickel, of South Bend, was a Sunday afternoon caller of Mrs. Vesta DeCoudres. Thursday evening was pleasantly spent by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mortakis and family, Mrs. Peter Mortakis, of South Bend, Mrs. Bernice Farrar and John Rittley, of New Jersey as dinner guests of Mrs. Vesta DeCoudres. Mr. and Mrs. John Egger, of Richmond, Indiana, came for the alumni dinner and stayed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivo Peddycord during their time in North Liberty. Miss Penny and Julie Klopfenstein gave a wedding shower on Sunday for Miss Jackie Egger at the home of Mrs. Fudge Klopfenstein. Everyone really enjoyed themselves watching the gifts being opened and admired. Refreshments were served. Mrs. Mae Packer left on Friday for Lafayette to attend the wedding of her grandniece, Miss Janet Harden, of Lafayette. She visited with her sister, Mrs. Marie Hellwig, coming home early Sunday morning. The Grenert family reunion was held on Sunday, June 12 at Rose Park in Mishawaka. Texas, are staying until Wednesday with the William Grenerts, on Neu Road, South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rosner, of Sebring. Florida, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Durwood Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Morton R. Berger, Jr., and Michelle, spent several days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max E. Steele. Mr. Berger recently received his Master's degree in international management and is currently located in Indianapolis. At the Liberty-Greene Alumni Banquet held on June 11, Anna Steele was the oldest living graduate attending. Anna is a member of the class of 1902. NOTICE OF MEETING Indiana farmers will have an opportunity to voice their ideas and opinions on the Census of Agriculture during a public hearing in Plymouth, Indiana, on June 18, 1977. The meeting will be held from
9:00 to 12:00 a.m. in the REMC building located three miles south of Plymouth on 12th Road at Highway 31. The general public is invited. The purpose of the Plymouth hearing, as well as nine other public meetings to be held throughout the nation, is to gather ideas on ways to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the Census of Agriculture. The result of these ten hearings will be used to reduce the amount of inconvenience to participating farmers during the censustaking. Indiana Congressman Floyd J. Fithian and Lieutenant Governor Robert D. Orr, Indiana's Commissioner of Agriculture, are jointly sponsoring the Indiana hearing.
