Silvia Bertolaccini, one of the new young players on the LPGA Tour, will add both to the beauty and ability of the field at the Fourth Annual Hoosier LPGA Golf Classic at the Plymouth Country Club next week. Silvia, an attractive s’B”, 126 pound native of Argentina, is in her third year as a member of the tour and has piled up almost $40,000 in her first two years. After breaking into tour play, the 26-year old won over SB,OOO in 1975 with a scoring average of 75.60. In 1976, she made her presence known in many tournies, finishing second in the Ladv Tara Classic for her best finish. She lowered her scoring average to 74.36 and earned over $31,000. She is carrying right on this year playing very well and her name is among the leaders in many of the 1977 meets. The final entry list, much a formality, is growing day in and day out at the tournament headquarters at Plymouth. Among the six amateur women golfers who will be playing is South Bend's Lori Garbacz, an outstanding young golfer. All next week is tournament week at the Plymouth Country Club located on State Road 17 three miles west of Plymouth. Tuesday and Thursday will be practice days for the girls but the public can attend for the week day admission price. Wednesday is the big ProAm in which 192 amateur golfers of the area will pair up with the top 48 ladies in the tournament for the scramble tournament which has $15,000 in prizes awaiting the contestants on this day. Rain date is Thursday for the Pro-Am. This is also available to all at week day rates. Friday, June 24, the first round will begin at 10:00 a.m. off both the first and tenth tee. There will be 72 golfers fighting for the top money spot with the Friday and Saturday rounds making a cut of the top 60 for Sunday's final round. Saturday play also begins at 10:00
