JUNE MOMENTS AT MILLER’S MERRY MANOR W'e welcome five new residents. Mrs. Dora Annia. Mrs Maude Carbiener. Mrs. Lenora Murray. Mrs. Prudence Myers and also Mr. Floyd Bellinger. Every Friday we have a Bible class which is taught by Mrs. Wentz, of North Liberty, at 1:30. June 7 and June 21 the North Liberty Church of Christ ladies come to share music and devotion with our residents at 1:30. The ministers who will come every Monday night through June to conduct church services are Rev. Hughes. Rev. McGee. Rev. McWhirter and Rev. Shelley. Thursday night. June 9. the North Liberty Church of Christ, with Rev. Richmond, will share devotions at ”:00 p.m. Sunday. June 12. at 2:00 p.m.. we will celebrate the birthdays of May Babcock. Ruth McKesson. Rhoda Ogle. Victor Slott. Lou Laramore and Prudence Myers. The Righter Sisters, from South Bend, will entertain with gospel songs. Thursday. June 16. the wonderful Workman Sisters will sing for our pleasure at 7 :00 p.m. Sunday. June 19. Rev. Corbett will conduct church services at 2:30 in the lounge. Monday we will have our monthly "Beauty Clinic" where facials and manicures will be given at 1:30. Bingo will be played on Thursday . June 23. at 1:30. Tuesday. June 28 we will have a movie, "Zoo’s of the World" at 1:30. She: "What made you decide to become a parachute jumper?" He "A plane with three dead engines." Speed kills — obey the 55 limit.

Pre-Register For Bible School In North Liberty The First Brethren Church announces that the time to pre-regis-ter for its Vacation Bible School June 20-24 is now here. Children from age 2 to grade 7 are encouraged to attend this Bible School which will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon daily. Each child may be pre-registered bv calling the church office at 656-3114 or Mrs. Ronald Harris at 656-8243. Transportation will be pros ided for those w ho need it. The church also announces that tour members of the 19'"' Brethren Church Summer Crusade team will also be here that week participating in the Bible School. They are Bobbi Miller, of Goshen. Indiana. Jean Troup, of Fort Wayne. Indiana. John Black, of Miledgeville. Illinois. and John Mills, of Hagerstown. Maryland. They will also be participating in the Morning Worship services on June 19 and June 26. The closing program for the Bible School will be held on Friday, June 24 with the Von Seegan puppets providing the main part of the program. North Liberty Bible School Set For June 20-24 June 20-24 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. is the time for Bible School here at the Church of Christ. We are planning to have surprise visitors by the names of Jenji and Zach
to be with us. I understand that they do a lovely job of singing! Brenda Buell is planning to be with us. She. her husband. Ed., and their son John are going to be leaving sewn for Zaire. Africa, to be missionaries. On June 26. at 7:30 p.m., we will present a program for the parents to enjoy. Please mark your calendars and plan to be with us that Sunday evening. Following the program, cookies and beverages will be served. Another group that will get underway is our Teen Bible Time. It w ill start on the evening of June 20. Any teens in the area that wish to join us should meet here at the church at 6:45 with their Bible and a blanket to sit on. You will return to the church at 9:15 p.m. There will be a campfire, singing and a great time of study about our Lord and Savior.
