North Liberty, has been selected to be a finalist in the 1977 Indiana United Teenager Pageant to be held at the Holiday Inn-Northeast in Indianapolis, August 19, 20 and 21. The Pageant is the official state-wide finals for the United Teenager Pageant to be held in Washington, D.C., in December, 1977. Contestants from all over the state will be competing for the title. All contestants are between the ages ot 14 and 18 and must have at least a "B” average in school. They are requested to participate in the Volunteer Community Service Program of the United Teenager Pageant. Ihrough this program many youngsters are becoming involved in community activities bv contributing at least 8 hours of time to some worthwhile charity or civic work. Among the prizes the winner of the Indiana United Teenager Pageant will receive is an all-expense paid trip to compete in the National Finals in our Nation’s Capitol. $15,000 in cash scholarships will be awarded at the National Pageant in December. Contestants will be judged on scholastic and civic achievements, beauty, poise and personality. No swimsuit or talent competition is required. Each contestant will write and recite on stage a KM) word "essay” on the subject. "My Country.” Miss Leena Lisa Clark is sponsored bv Kaley Construction. Inc., 1722 S. MacGreger Road, South Bend. Indiana. Her hobbies include cooking, swimming, ceramics. horseback riding, bicycling, embroidery and sewing. FALCON GOLF TEAM DEFEATS LAVILLE Ihe John Glenn Falcons golf team beat La Ville Thursdav. Mav 12 in a Northern State Conference match 147-161. The Falcons B team was also victorious 156-170. Jeff Sarber and Greg Bros old were co-medalists with fine rounds of 35. Dayhuff, accounting major at Tri State University, was initiated May 11 into the new Gamma Theta chapter ot Delta Mu Delta, national honor society in

business administration. Formerly Alpha Beta Alpha, a campus organization, the society includes 18 students and seven honorary faculty members. Delta Mu Delta members must be students of good character who are registered in programs of business administration. Undergraduates must have completed at least half the work for the baccalaureate degree with an average cumulative grade of .2 above a "B” of better. Graduate students working toward the masters degree must have completed half the work with a cumulative grade average not less than .25 above a ”B”. Both undergraduate and graduate students must be in the top 20 percent of their class. Delta Mu Delta is open to both men and women. Dayhuff is a 1973 graduate of John Glenn High School.
