UREY SPLITS TRACK MEET WITH LAVILLE The Urey Middle School track [cams split decisions with LaVille in track. 7TH GRADE Ihe seventh grade won their meet against LaVille by the score of 19 to 47. Mike Elkin won the high jump with a season and personal best jump of 5'10". Doug Miller took first in the 60 yard dash with a personal and season best time of "9 seconds. Jeff Tinkey was high point man scoring 9% points, second in the high jump, first in the >BO yard run with a seasonal and personal best time of 2:34.9, and a member of the winning 880 yard relay team. Other members of the relay team were Craig Sarber, Tony Raines, and Jeff South. Urey also swept the shot put with David Nunley talcing first, and Gary Bier|y and Tony Raines tying for second. Barb Mann was the leading point-winner, scoring three individual firsts in the 80 yard low hurdles and the shot put.
