Hoosier Energy printed and distributed 100.(XX) of the colorful maps through service stations, motels, restaurants and Iwai RI MC offices, with the original map being presented to the Lt. Governor as a gift to the state of Indiana. Hoosier Energy, which generates and transmits electricpower to 17 member REMC in southern Indiana, has been promoting communitv events for the past 10 years as a means of developing and encouraging tourism in the state. The 1977 map is on display at the Independent-News office is anyone would like to see one. REGISTRATION AT IVY TECH MAY 16 - 20 Registration for the Summer Quarter at Ivy Tech, South Bend, is scheduled for May lb through May 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, daily. Classes begin May 23 and run until August 19. A summer break is slated from June 20 to July 4. Enrollment is open in eleven programs Accounting, Architectural Drafting, Automotive Service. Ivv lech s Health Occupations Division is accepting applications now for the Fall Quarter in four programs: Medical Laboratory Assistant. Practical Nursing. Op crating Room Technician, and Medical Assistant. During the Summer Quarter, all classes at Ivy lech are held in the daytime. Students may enroll on a part-time or a full-time basis. The cost per credit hour is $12.25; Ivy lech has not increased its fees in four years. U.S. EXPANDS MAIL SERVICE TO VIETNAM Expanded mail service to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has been announced by the (J. S. Postal Service. The following mail categories sent by surface or air to addressees in Vietnam are being accepted at all U. S. post offices. Postal cards measuring between S'/j by 3’/: inches and 6 by 4'* inches. Letters and letter packets weighing up to four pounds. Small packets weighing less than two pounds. Printed material and matter for the blind as prescribed by postal regulations.
