January IS. was won bv North Liberty over John Glenn 39-33. Glenn led at the half. 20-18 and after North Libcrety took a 10 point lead, the Falcons came back and made it a tight game to the finish. Chris Tuttle led the Falcons with 13 points. North Liberty had defeated New Prairie in the second game 55-30 with a very tough man-to-man defense holding a 25-10 lead at the end of the half. Todd Allsop dominated the inside game the first half, rebounding, blinking shots and scoring seven of Liberty's first nine points and scoring nine altogether. Mark VanderHagcn and Ron Price scored 14 and nine points respectively and did a good job of denying their forwards. John Gouker and Jeff Martin did a good job of pressuring New Prairie's guards. North Liberty substituted freely in the game. In the consolation game. New Prairie had an easy time defeating
