January 8 at the Bolling Air Force Base. Washington. D C. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fullmer, of Birmingham. Alabama. Mr and Mrs. Dannv Nickerson and children, of l ake of the Woods, were Saturday dinner guests of Mrs Evch n Stephenson Mrs. Walter Strope returned home last Thursday from St. Joseph Hospital. South Bend. Mr and Mrs. Darrell Roush spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. I ulu Roush and Pearl. Mrs. Ethel Sims spent last week with her daughter. Mrs. James Workman, at Kempton. at the Veteran s Hospital in Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Snyder and son. of South Bend, were Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Snyder. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Craft and Brent, of South Bend, spent Sundas afternoon with Mrs. Martha Taylor. Tri Kappa News Projects for 1977 was the main topic of review and discussion when the Zeta Pi chapter of Tri Kappa of North Liberty met Wed nesday. January 12 in the home of the president. Mrs. Audinc Man uel. The 17 members in atten dance presented very constructive ideas. The Chapter voted to donate to the Elaine Baughman fund. The ways and means committee distributed February calendars and coin banks which will be turned in at the March meeting. Mrs. Jerry Knepp and Mrs. John Peddycord. chairmen of the 1976 Christmas Ba/aar. announced it 1 was a huge success and they thanked everyone for their fine support. Plans are being formu- ‘ lated for this year’s event. • The February 9 meeting w ill be a valentine's party and each member is to bring her own creation of a 1 valentine.
Mrs. Robert Loucks was co hostess for the evening. ELECTION OF OFFICERS The North Liberty Drift Breakers held their January 5 meeting at the Relax Inn in North Liberty. The officer for the coming year were elected as follows: president, Frank Sailer; vice-president. Bob Cline; secretary, Sharon Snyder; treasurer. Dorothy Sailer. The group took their first trip north this past week end to Red wood Motel at Wolf Lake. Michigan. Those who went were Mr. and Mrs. Dave McKesson. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Orcutt. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lloyd, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cline. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Patrick. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Awald, Mr. and Mrs. Audie Manuel. Les Cable and Karen Wardman, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sailer. John Stahly and Allen Schmcltz. They had beautiful riding. Dorothy Sailer will be in charge of the trip in February to Timberlane. Michigan.
