Besides bunco a gift exchange was enjoved bv all the ladies. Mrs. (ora Betz. Monroe Street, fell last Ihursdav in her home and broke a leg and is now in the LaPorte Hospital A familv dinner was enjoyed Sundav at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Roy Hahn and family. Mrs Ester Kaufman. Mrs Alta Bowers and Mrs. J. ( Milner were Saturdav evening dinner guests of Mrs. Bertha Urbin. Mr. Brian Lowry spent Saturday with his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Brandt and in the evening they celebrated his birthdav with a party for Brian. Attending were his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lowry and his aunt and uncle. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wiegand and three sons. Ice cream and cake was served and then they attended the basketball game to end an enjoyable day for Brian's 1 Ith birthday. Mr. and Mrs. William Erzig will be hosts for the Koontz Lake Conservation Club carry-in dinner on Saturday evening in the club house with cards and visiting to follow. Mr and Mrs. Zigmond Staszak and family, of Chicago, came to spend the day. Sunday, with her father. Mr. Peter Madeksas. of Koontz Lake. The annual Dora Knowlton family Christmas dinner was held on Sunday in the Walkerton Community Building with 76 present coming from North Liberty. Lakeville. South Bend. Tyner. Elkhart and Walkerton. The Johnson Township Farm Bureau Members and their families enjoyed their annual ham dinner on Saturdav evening in the Johnson Township Community Building. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Zilla and daughter Penny, of Westville and Mrs. Bertha Watts were guests. Carols were sung and Santa came with his bag of gifts. Hosts were Mr and Mrs. led Daube. Mr. and Mrs. James Keeling and Mrs. Martha Mull. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Murphy were in Louisville. Kentucky. Saturday and Sunday to visit with their son. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Murphy and familv. home they stopped in Indianapolis to visit with another son. Mrs. Kenneth Klinedinst furnished organ music during the dinner hour and later sang several numbers with piano accompaniment which had been taped earlier that afternoon.
