The freshman class of North Liberty High School have elected the following as their officers, left to right. Mildred Albright Honored Recently Mildred Albright, head cookmanager at the North Liberty Elementary School, South Bend Community School Corporation. South Bend, was honored recently for her 30 years of service in the U.S. Department of Agricultures National School Lunch Program. Mildred is one of more than 1.200 school f<xxl service employees nationwide honored at the American School Food Service Association convention held in Hawaii August 1-6. State scrolls carrying the names of the qualifying individuals were presented to an official of each American School food Service State organization. Today, nearly 90.000 Schools are taking part in the program and 90 percent of American school children have access to low cost nutritious meals at school. Secretary of Agriculture Earl Butz paid tribute to the .10th anniversary of the National School Lunch Act by observing. "This program demonstrates the continuing commitment of thr Nation to its most precious resource our children.” Schools across the Nation will be celebrating National School Lunch Week. Colorado, from the U.S. Air Force technical training course for special weapons mechanics. Airman Kincaid, now trained to assemble and repair special weapons, is being assigned to Grand Forks AFB. North Dakota, for duty with a unit of the Strategic Air Command. Completion of the course enables the airman to receive academic credits throught the Community College of the Air Force. Sapp, 6X560 Sycamore Road. North Liberty, Indiana, recently was presented the Air Assault Badge upon graduation from the Air Assault School at Ft. Campbell. Kentucky. Trainees learned the art of rappelling down a wall, free rappelling from a helicopter, medivac procedures combined with rigging and sling loading operations. and troop ladder and tree landing platform techniques. Sapp is one of the thousands of American and Allied troops taking part in NATO Exercise Reforger 76 in Germany.
