Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Voth and daughters, of Littleton. Colorado, are spending several weeks with Mrs. Voth's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Hay. and other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Zeno Miller, of Bremen, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilder Burnside, of Walkerton, were Thursday evening supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman. Miss Kim VanderHagen and Mr. John Kaser had supper last Saturday evening with Mrs. Effie Hammaker and Mr. Charles VanderHagen. Mrs. Ethel Crothers spent a couple of weeks with her granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parkinson, in Wabash. Indiana. Saturday afternoon visitors of Mrs. Sterling Amm were Miss Bonnie Biggs, of South Bend, and Steven Travis, of Niles. Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Sheneman called on Mr. and Mrs. John Clark Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stump, of Plymouth. Florida, and Mr. John Sapp, of Tennessee, were recent visitors of Mrs. May Clark. Mrs. Esther Harman spent the week end with her daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sorgenfrei and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Whiteleather, in South Bend. Mr. Ralph Roush and daughter Carol, of South Bend, called on Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clark Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Lulu Roush and Pearl, along with other members of their family, attended the 37th annual Isiah Roush reunion Sunday at Walkerton Community Building. Mrs. Roush was the oldest member present. UMW Annual Meeting Set The South Bend District United Methodist Women annual meeting is set for Tuesday, September 28 at 9:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1001 W. Colfax Street, South Bend. The theme for the meeting is "Hungers of the World." The morning program will feature Mrs. Anita Fenstermacher; Walkerton, from the North Indiana Conference, lay leader and Pat Kyle, chairperson. Board of Church and Society. Words from John Brademas, Third District Congressman on this topic from a Legislator's point of view. The Crying Stones, a creative production written by Dr. Gerald Jones. District Superintendent, emphasizing as Christians we become aware of the other hungers that exist in our world for Justice, Education. Freedom and economic opportunity.
