Miss Sandra Lou Ogle became the bride of Gregory W. Fassett during a two o'clock wedding ceremony on Saturday, August 7 in the North Liberty Church of Christ with Rev. Tom Jones, officiating. CHECKS ISSUED TO COUNTIES BY STATE Checks for $19,734,542.06 in Property Tax Replacement Fund monies are being mailed to the 92 Indiana counties as announced by Governor Otis R. Bowen. The distribution represents an advancement to the counties of 15% of the fall distribution from the PTRF fund. The total spring distribution to the counties amounted to $131.3 million. A roughly equal amount will be distributed in the fall. Under the Property Tax Replacement program, 20% of each county’s tax levy will be paid from the state PTR fund. St. Joseph County will receive $902,950.13; Starke County $61,249.25; Marshall County. $124,088.42 and LaPorte County. $463,043.63. Be a defensive driver — always!
