Mrs. Charles Bandendistel returned home from the hospital on Sunday, July 4th. Her guests for the week end were Mr. and Mrs. George Reusch. of Kentucky, Mrs. Robert Finkle, of Indianapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Sharpe,Muncie and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bandendistel, of Fish Lake. Mrs. Finkle will be staying here for an indefinite period of time with her mother. Miss Myra Clemons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Clemons, route 4. just returned home from five lovely days in Edmonton, Indiana, with several other girls on a Rainbow convention. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dunn and family, of West Lafayette; Mr. and Mrs. James Rook, of Riverdale; Mrs. Robert Gore and Lisa, of Crete, Illinois; and Mr. Pete Dunn, of Goshen, were all here Saturday afternoon and evening to see the parade on Saturday evening. On Sunday Mr. Gore and sons came, Mr. and Mrs. Gaither Dunn, of Martinsburg, West Virginia; and Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Earl Dunn, of Smithsburg, Maryland; came to join the group and all enjoyed the day with a delicious dinner with Mrs. Dunn. Mrs. Lucile Ward was also a guest Sunday. Mrs. Frank Farner and children came three weeks ago for a visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Leo Savoie. Mr. Farner came Thursday and spent the week end here and took the family back to Jackson, Missouri with him. Mr. Douglas Lute, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, left this Friday after spending a two week vacation here with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lute, on Clark Street. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bergner and family, of Fort Myers, Florida, have spent the past week here with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Chapman and son. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Ossler, of Hamlet, were guests in the home of her sister and husband Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Henry. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Bell, of Knox, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bell and Jill, of Hamlet, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gielerak and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Land, of Wanatah and Tim Gardner, of Punta Gorda, Florida, all spent the Fourth of July with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gardner and Terry. evening to see the parade and to visit their parents Mr. and Mrs. John Guttman and Mrs. Bertha Urbin. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Johnson, of Goshen, were Thursday afternoon callers on Mrs. Orville Klinedinst. On Saturday afternoon and evening Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ball and family, of Logansport; Mr. and Mrs. Duane Rhodes and daughter, of Plymouth; Mr. and Mrs. Don Martin, of South Bend; and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hostetler and family, of Walkerton, were all guests of Mrs. Charles Martin and all came to see the parade. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Smith, of Riverdale, Illinois, were here Wednesday of last week to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Clark. On Friday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Claude Woolley, of LaPorte. From Thursday through Sunday Kenny and Kevin Kaminski, of Hebron, were here and on Sunday Mr. and Mrs. John Kaminski came to take their sons home. Mr. and Mrs. Burgoone Carnes, of Raleigh, North Carolina, are here for a ten day vacation visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Solmos and other relatives and friends in the Walkerton area. Mr. and Mrs. Oren Duthie came home last week end from a vacation. They visited Mr. Herbert Carlson at Iron Mountain, Michigan, and went to visit Mr. and Mrs. Richard Edstrom, in Waybata, Minnesota. They also took a trip into South Dakota to see the famous places in that state. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tanka will be hosts for the Koontz Lake carry in dinner this Saturday evening at the club house and a social hour will follow the dinner. Mr. Arthur McKesson is a patient in the LaPorte Hospital and Mrs. Minnie Mikesell is a patient in the St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka. Mr. and Mrs. George Downs, of Koontz Lake, were in Hebron Monday to enjoy a picnic with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Downs and son Bob prior to leaving within a few days for their home in Florida. Saturday and Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rensberger were Mr. and Mrs. Benny Roe, of Interlackin, Michigan; Mr. and Mrs. Don Carlin, Wayne and Robert, of Ney, Ohio; Mr. Ray Rensbergcr, of Sherwood, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rensberger, from
Florida; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Rensbergcr, of LaPorte; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Albright, of Ellenton, Florida. These people were also here to attend the Rensberger reunion held Sunday in the Community Building with 60 present. Mr. George Ochs is a patient in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Room C-847. Residents of the 76 Apartments on Illinois and Jackson Streets are Mrs. Alta Bowers, Mrs. Hazel Flowers, Mrs. M. Lange, Mrs. Emma Morris and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Thayer. Others will be coming in soon. Monday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knowlton were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Delaney and family, of Lafayette; Mr. and Mrs. David Knowlton and family, Mr. and Mrs. David Drews and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Knowlton and son, Mrs. Arthur DeMyer, Craig DeMyer and Miss Libby Burkhart, of Indianapolis. Mrs. Louis Houser was admitted again last week to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Stahly and daughter Susan, of Jacksonville, Florida, came last week to spend a vacation with her mother, Mrs. Vern Johnson, and Mrs. Marie Stahly. Mrs. Johnson had been in the home of her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cripe, in South Bend, for some weeks due to a fall in her home which caused some broken bones.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hostetter and family, of Peoria, Illinois, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanton Hostetter and family, of Indianapolis, were 4th of July visitors with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hostetter. ™ m births Ml A son was born on July 3 at 11:51 p.m. in the Fort Wayne Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. John Kiracofe. He weighed in at eight pounds and 15 ounces. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ullery. Mr. and Mrs. Ullery were in Fort Wayne on Sunday and Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Troup, of Bloomington, are the parents of a four pound and 11 ounce baby girl born on June 29. She has been named Sarah Ann. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Westhues. of Walkerton and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Troupe, of Plymouth. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Fisher, 25800 Quinn Road, North Liberty, were the parents of a daughter born Tuesday, June 29. A little litter hurts a lot!
