GIRLS’ BASKETBALL CAMP AT I.S.U. Girls’ Basketball camp for ages 12-18 will be offered for the first time by Indiana State University June 24-26. Sanctioned by the Indiana High School Athletic Association, the first annual ISU Girls' Basketball Camp will take place in the Women’s Physical Education Gym beginning at 9:00 a.m. on June 24. Designed to teach the essentials of basketball and to stress the concept of teamwork, the program will be conducted by Miss Edith Godleski, women's basketball coach, and members of the ISU women’s varsity basketball team. The three-day program will stress individual offensive and defensive fundamentals of basketball. Scheduled activities include conditioning drills and fundamentals such as ball handling, jumpshot, dribbling, defensive technique on the ball and away from the ball and rebounding. Also, free throw shooting and one-on-one tournaments are to be included. The program will close with dinner and awards at 4:00 p.m. June 26. with departure scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Early registration may be made prior to June 1 for $27.50. After June 1. the registration fee will be S3O. For students who elect to stay on campus, dormitory housing and
meals for the three-day camp will be available at an additional cost of $2".50 for registrations made before June 1. and for S3O after that date.
