Town improvement chairwoman, Mrs. John Peddycord, announced plans to restore an old Gold Medal Flour sign that is on the building across the alley from Trobaugh Auto Parts. Flowers will soon be planted in the concrete containers that are in the downtown area. July 4th plans include a beard and moustache contest, a queen contest and a bicentennial float.
