The following were guests on Friday afternoon of Mrs. Mamie Mackin in celebration of her 84th birthday were, Mrs. Harold Ruby, Mrs. Rick Ruby and two children, Mrs. Clyde Stickley and Mrs. Charles Daube. Ice cream and cake were served. Mrs. Mackin is a resident in the McNorton home. On Sunday her nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Don Peroutka and three children. of Kenosha. Wisconsin, and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Peroutka. of Clinton. Illinois; also a niece. Miss Linda Perkins and her fiance. Mr. Ed Magiera. of Liberty Ville. Illinois, came and prepared her dinner. Mr, and Mrs. John Pearson and daughter. Sarah, of Beaver Dam. Wisconsin, spent the week end here with her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. John Newland came home last week following a six month stay in the south. Their first stop was in Harrisonburg, Virginia, for several weeks where they visited with her sister. Then accompanied by her sister and husband and son, they went to Fairplay. South Carolina, where they stayed most of the time. They said the weather was perfect and the fishing was good. They spent a little time in Florida but much preferred the South Carolina atmosphere. Mr. and Mrs. William Dickson, of Koontz Lake, spent the week end in Niles, Illinois, visiting their son. the William Dickson family. and Mrs. Dennis Baker and family, in Bremen. Mrs. George Pfeiffer and Mrs. Dorothy Walsh will serve as hostesses for the Saturday evening carry-in dinner of the Koontz Lake Conservation Club. Dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m., CST, with a social hour to follow. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Norton and daughter, of Otsego, Michigan, were week end visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Kuklinski. at Koontz Lake. The Fellowship Class of the United Methodist Church will have their class party on Friday afternoon in the home of Mrs. Harold Knowlton with Mrs. Harry Steinke as assisting hostess at 2:00 p.m. The annual Hostetler family gathering was held on Easter Sunday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herald Hostetler with a carry-in dinner for 77 persons. Every member of the family was present this year. In the afternoon the time was spent with the annual egg hunt which was enjoyed by young and old alike. Families present were from Plymouth.
