Tom J OBITUARIES RACHEL M. BAUGHMAN Rachel M. Baughman. 52. 63594 Primrose Road. North Liberty, died at 10:45 p.m. April 13 in her home after an extended illness. She was a Greene Tow nship school bus driver. She was born in Liberty Township May 24. 1923. She was married to Ralph D. Baughman, who survives along with a son, Duwaine E.; two daughters. Mrs. Sandra Goff. North Liberty, and Mrs. Joyce Hostetler, Chattanooga. Tennessee; seven grandchildren; one brother. Stanley Surface, Cohasset, Minn.; a half-brother. Frank Surface, Fort Wayne; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kuber, North Liberty, and Mrs. Margaret Baughman. Walkerton. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday in the A. M. Manuel Funeral Home. North Liberty. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday in the Tabor United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Frahm officiating. Burial will be in the Sumption Prairie Cemetery. MRS. ALMA HARBAUGH Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Harbaugh. 81. 105 South State Street. North Liberty, were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the United Methodist Church, North Liberty with Rev. Gaylord M. Saltzgaber, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Mrs. Harbaugh passed away at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7 in the LaPorte Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on May 4. 1894 at Lakeville and had lived at North Liberty for 73 years coming from Lakeville. On May 3, 1919 she married Grover Cleveland Harbaugh, who preceded her in death in 1962. ccmber 11. 1891 in Mill Creek and he had lived in Crumstown most of his life. On May 15, 1917, in Chicago, he married Chrystal Day. who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marcus J. Sult. Crumstown; two grandchildren and four sisters. Emma Beringer. Crumstown; Mrs. Elsie Drcibelbeis. Niles. Michigan. Mrs. Frances Norris. Mishawaka; and Mrs. Mabel Kirkpatrick. Waukegan. Illinois.
