On the occasion of their parents 50th wedding anniversary, the children of Mr and Mrs. Mayotte Arseneau, 604 Virginia Street. Walkerton, will host a reception from 2:00 to 4 (M) p.m. on Sunday. April 11, in the Walkerton Com munitv building. Hazel Harrington and Mayotte Arseneau were married in St. Edwards Church, in Lowell, on April 8,192 b. They have three children, Donald, of Santa Barbara. California; Kay Cheesbrough. of Spokane. Washington; and Edward, of Valparaiso. They also have five grandchildren and two are deceased. Mr Arseneau retired Plas-Steel Products, Walkerton, seven years ago. He had worked there IS years. They have lived in Walkerton 30 years. All friends and relatives are invited. ENGAGED RS The engagement of Pamela Sue Ross to David Rensberger is revealed by the bride-to-be’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald K. Ross. Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rensberger, of Roann, Indiana. Ms. Ross was graduated from Wabash High School in 1972, and South Bend's School of Nursing in 1975. She is a registered at Vernon Manor. The bridegroom-elect was graduated from Northfield High School in 1972. and is a part time student at Ivy Tech. South Bend. He is also employed as a tool and die apprentice at Capital Tool and Die, South Bend.

An April 24 wedding is being planned. CHILDREN’S PROGRAM Covered Wagon Crafts by Jeanne Denham, will be the next C hildren’s Program at the Northern Indiana Historical Society Museum on Saturday, Aptil I 7 at 2:00 p.m. Ihe program, sponsored by the Eriends of the Museum, will include demonstrations and explanations of spinning, candle making, tanning, and natural dyeing of yarn. Mrs. Jeanne Denham has given this unique demonstration to many public groups. She is currently the President of the St. Joseph County Genealogical Society and a member of many other cultural organizations in the South Bend area. The program is free and open to the public. However, because of space limitations, reservations must be made in advance by calling the museum. The program will begin at 2:00 p.m. and end by 3:00 p.m. Parents are asked to pick up their children by the end of the program. CANCER CRUSADE The Cancer Crusade will be held April 19 to the 26 under the leadership of Mrs. Craig Reed, Lincoln Township chairman. Volunteers are needed for the crusade and if you are interested please call Mrs. Reed, 586-3274.
