Mr. Ralph Sullivan, North Lib. erty, came home on Monday from the Univers.ty Medical Center Hospital in Cleveland. Ohio, where he had open heart surgery three weeks ago. Mrs. Warner Clark came home from the hosp.tal last week. Mr. Bob Barden was also released liom the hospital last week. Mr. Claude Houser is still in Memoriai Hospital. South Bend, but is reported improv.ng nicely. John Glenn golf coacn. Mike Jones, fired a hole.in-one enroute to winning the county coaches golf tournament at Swan Lake golf course on Saturday. Jones got his ace with a wedge on the 130 yard 13th hole. Kerry Haenes and John Hostrawser were play, mg with Jones. Jones had a 76 to earn low gross honors. On Tuesday, Capt. James Sell, of Purdue University, called on Mrs. Dorothy Walsh and daugh. ter. Mrs. Dorothy Knbuly. They have been friends since Dorothy Korbuly attended Purdue. Whenever she is able to get to Walkerton, her Purdue friends get to visit.

Mis. Lewis Reese of Mill Creek, foimerly Miss Nancy Sue Ci ijx', was a surgical patient in the LaPorte Hospital last week. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Kuklinshi, oT Koontz Lake, came home last week from a 10 day stay at Otsego, Mich , with Mr. and Mis. Nelson Norton and family. Rev. and Mrs. Robert C. Bowman week end guests were her sister and hus and, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kane, of Evanston, 111. Miss Cindy Campbell, Julie Tiede and Jim Mechlmg are home from Indiana Uninversit y for the summer. Jim is visiting friends here for a few days before return, ng home in Bloomington. Mrs. DeLght Mechling recently sold her farm and has moved to Bloomington to be with her family. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Knowlton and family were Sunday dinner guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Knowlton. In the late afternoon and evening, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Knowlton were in South Bend to v.sit.Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Heim and family. Eleven ladies from Walkerton enjoyed the new bus service, Dial. A-Ride, provided for older adults on Wednesday of last week. They reported a good t.me and all enjoyed a day of shopping and sightseeing. The bus will be going on Wednesday of each week and any interested person should con. tact Mrs. Mary Bauer Mrs. Frank Dunn or Mrs. Cloyd Smith for res. ervations. H, Snow, of South Bend, was a dinner guest of his niece, Mr. and Mrs. William DePoy. Other guests for the afternoon were Mr. and Mis. Kent, a graduate of Walkerton High School in 1961, spent nine years in the Navy and is now stationed at the International Reserve Guards Kirkland Air Base, for the next five years in New Mexico. Mrs. Hilda Dipert and Mrs. Adeline Flaherty will be the host.
