North Liberty and Villa Park, Illinois. A beautiful cake, coffee, punch, nuts and mints were served to ail the guests present after which Sii'.e and Don Teter opened all their lovely gifts. SPRING FASHIONS PREVIEWED FOR CLI B Signs of .spring were evident Friday, March 7, when the Wo. men's Community Club of Walk, erton staged a style show thru the courtesy of “Her Place," a local dress shop. Mrs. Leo Mahoney, narrator, described the fashions. Club mem. bers served as models. They were, ,n order of appearance, Mrs. Acil Hunter, Miss Dorothea Bren, mr, Mrs. John Schamer. Mrs. IV y Newell, Mrs. Thomas Pry, Mrs. George Pfeiffer, Mrs. E. M. Bregi, Mrs. Leonard Beaty, Mrs. William Dickson and Mrs. Robert Bowman. Mrs. Everett Baker assisted the models with their wardrobe. During the intermission Mrs. Mahoney gave a dem<>nstrat.on on how to tie a scarf She used lad. ies from the audience as models to display these scarves.. They were then presented to the ladies compliments of "Her Place." According to Mrs. Mahoney scarves will be quite popular this year.
