Chnt Morris ccie. brated their 71st wedd.ng anniversary on Monday. March 3. with a party at Fountainview Terrace Nursing Home, where they are now living Mr. Morris is 96 and Mis. Morris will be 91 in April. The couple were married in La. Paz by the Rev. Peters, a Luther, an minister. They resided in Lib. erty and Union Township area where Mr. Morris was a fanner and later worked at Studebakers until he later served as euatodiaa at the Methodist Church in North Liberty. Since 1923 the couple has live-1 in North Liberty until going to Fountainview TerCice in January of this year. J * Both Minnie eikl Clint are in good health though they have some difficulty With their eye. sight ard a little hard of hearing at times. They have five children. Arthur Morris, of Portage. Indiana; Mrc Mary B Bradford. Bremen; Mrs. Harold ( Freda I Holland, of Delton. Michigan; Mrs. Jack i Ruf y i Guelzo, Wyom. ing. Michigan; and Rus el Morris. Indianapolis. Another son, Eldon, died in 1942. They also have 14 grandchildren, 23 great, grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Manx members of the family along with several friends were on hand to visit them over the week end to extend their congratulations. The occasion on Mon. day was celebrated with a cor. sage for Mrs. Morris and a bou. tonniere for Mr. Morris and cal^e and ice cream for everyone.
