Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Smith, of Dunnellon, Florida, spent four days this week with Mr. and Mrs. George Down-', Koontz Lake. Mrs. Donald Petry, of Hoopston, IlliWs, has been a visitor for the past three weeks in the home of her daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Richard Hershberger and family. Mrs. Petry will be returning home this week end. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ramos, of Lillian, Alabama, have been guests for a week of her sister, Mrs. Eleanor Lemaster. Mrs. Ramos does 0.l paintings and she brought her sister a painting of their home which she treasurers very much. Mrs. George Hillis, Koontz Lake, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lunney at Blooming, ton, Illinois, on Wednesday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Ward will serve as hosts for the Koontz Lake Conservation Club carry in dinner Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the club house. The regular busi. ness meeting of the club will be this Friday at the dub house be. ginning at 7:30 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murphy, Mrs. Veronica Murphy and Mrs. Loyola Bauer, all of Chicago, were week end guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Brehm at Koontz I>ake., Mrs. Martha Young went with her niece and family on Sunday afternoon to visit her sister and family, Mrs. Bertha Jungerman and her son Mac Young at Hobart, who was in an accident last week and broke his leg. Mac is at home now and getting along as well as can be expected.
