On Saturday Mi. and Mr Mi had C nlon and daughter Mary Alice, arrived along with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Larson, of Pecatonica Illinois. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Beaty and grandson, Rich.e Cole, spent a few days in Florida visiting Mis. Beaty’s sister and brother-in-law, I):, ar I Mrs. Cloyd Felix, in Lehigh Acres. On the return trip Richie was treated to a vis. it to D. ney World, Silver Springs with a tide in the glas^ bottomed boat and ’h" Jungle Cruise where h< enjoyed seeing the monkeys, wild pigs, snakes and birds. Rain was a daily occurence in the south and they traveled in pour.ng rain all the last day until they reached Kokomo whme they found the usual Walkerton dry weather.

Miss Tammie Baker, of Bremen, is spending several days here with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Baker. Mrs. Dorothy Walsh returned home Sunday night from an extended trip to Tuscon. Arizona, and to Pasedena. California, where she visited with her daughter and husband. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Korberly. Saturday afternoon and evening guests of Mr. and Mi'S. W illiam C. Mrs. Alta Bowers received word last week of the death of Roland Bowers, of Myrtle, Oregon. Mr Bowers was a former Walkerton resident. Mrs. Lawrence Freeman, of Norman, Oklahoma, is enjoying a vacation wth her sisters, Mrs. R,. H ,-tetter and Mr.-. Lecnrird Beaty and other re! dives in Walkerton and some time in Ohio which was her former home. She was accompanied by Mis. Hostetter in whose home she Is a guest. Mr. and Mrs. Waiter Johnson had as week end guests, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kromelink and family, of Auburn, Michigan; Mrs. Flo Kromelink. of Evansville; S.ster Helen Kormelink and Sister Diane Custer, of Ann Arbor, and Mr and Mrs. Jerry Johnson and family, of Howell Michigan.
