Stump family reunion was held on Sunday, August 11. at the home of Mrs. Pearl Stull near Walkerton. There were 45 to enjoy the bontiful dinner together at the noon hour. Relatives came from Lar. go, Flor.da; Fort Wayne; Cassopolis. Michigan; LaPorte; South Bend; North Liberty; LaPaz and Walkerton. Several just dropped in for the afternoon of fellowship and to look at the reunion and family pictures on display and to renew acquaintances. Glades Sheneman acted as president and read a poem entitled, “I'm Fine. How About You;'' and then told of s me of the changes that have taken place the last 40 years since she was married. John Stump told of how he and his wife Sus.e rode a passenger train from North Liberty to South Bend to get married.
