The Schmeltz family reunion will be held on Sunday, August 4 at the Tyner Lodge. Miss Bambi Lester, of Houston, Texas, spent several weeks w.th her grandparents, Mr. and Mis. Arno Reed. Mrs. Mary Perry, of Big Fork, Minn., spent Sunday night and Monday with her sisters, Mrs. Nellie Smith and Mrs. Martha Taylor. Mrs. Amj' Wesolek left on Saturday for Japan where she will spend a month visiting her mother and other relatives. Mrs. Edna Kane attended a birthday party on Saturday evening in honor of her son, Donald Kane, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Lonzo, of near Walkerton. Mr. and Mrs. John Gouker and Mrs. Melvin Gouker, Sr., returned from a week’s trip to Fulton, Texas. They also visited the LBJ Ranch at Johnson City, Texas; and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Baker at Ingleside who accompanied them to Old Mexico. Sunday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stoneburner, of near Walkerton, were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Teter, of Mishawaka; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Thay. er. Three rounds of bunco were played with nine mem. bers present. The three guests were Mrs. Thelma Peddycord, Mrs. Ethel Rauen and Ms. Julia Kammerer.
