Mrs. Esther Harman spent last week with Mrs. Lauia Ruff. Mrs. Gertrude Sheneman was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Bickel, in New Car. lisle. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Clark have returned home from a vacation trip through Maine and Canada. In Maine they visited a brother of Mrs. Clark. Mr. and Mis. Gale Merrick and family, of South Bend, were dinner guests on the 4th of July of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Sheneman. Mrs. Ida Kurzhal has returned home from Carmel. Indiana, after spending several weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell rcoush were Sunday evening callers of Mrs. Lulu Roush and Pearl. Ivo Roush, of Knox, was a caller on Monday afternoon. Mr. and -Mrs. David Williams and daughters, Barbara and Allyson. of Stevensville, Michigan,, vis. ited his father on July 4th, Linder Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Hanner Peek, of Flushing, Michigan, were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin King. July 4th visitors and din. ner guests were the Peeks along with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Feece, of Plymouth. Sunday evening callers were Mr. and Mrs. Myron Ramlier, of LaPorte. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Newcomer have sold their home on New Road and have moved to LaPaz. Sunday visitons of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Clark were Lessa Shank, of Tyner, Janice, of South Bend, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Joe Clark and family, of Mishawaka, and Mrs. M. L. Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kurzhal called on Mr. ami Mrs. Richard Haskins at Lakeville on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John Corwin and daughter Lon, of Nappanee, Mr. and Mrs. George Cox and family, of Valparaiso, and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Thayer of LaPaz, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman on the 4th of Julyfollowing the parade at North Liberty. They enjoyed home, made ice cream and cake. John is the new manager of tl^/ Walkerton and North Liberty Harvey Dime Stores and his parents, of Nappanee, were also guests.
