Tri Kanua News The North Liberty chapter of Tri Kappa held their June meeting in the home of Mrs. Howard Loucks with Mrs. Robert Loucks assisting. Mrs. Clyde Steele, scholarship chairman, reported a $400.00 college scholarship had been presented to Miss Colleen Rose at the North Liberty High School Awards program. Miss Rose w.ll be entering United Wesleyan Co.lege, Allentown, Pa., in the fall. Miss Linda Knepp and Mrs. James Plunkett announced that the 4th of July Queen will be crowned at the band concert in the North Liberty Park on Thurs. day evening. June 27. The queen and her court will ride on Tri Kappa's float in the 4th of July parade. Mrs Carrol Jordan is cha.iman of the float.
