Mrs. Lewie Re?d and Mrs. Celestia Robbins, under the direction of Wur. thy Patron, Will.am Elkin, were duly initiated. Mrs. Reed’s stepfather, Paul Winland, past matron of Crown Point chapter 408 gave the associate patrons lecture. Mothers of beth ladies are members of the Walkerton chapter and were present for the evening. Mrs. Erickson is Mother Adviser of the local Assembly of Rainbow. North Libetty’ J4P the Walkerton Assembly No. 64, Order of Rainbow for Girls. June 24. Jerri Carlson, Worthy Advisor, opened the meeting according to form. Mrs. Gary Clark, past worthy Advisor, presented the merit bars to the girls who had earned them. Final plans were discussed for the trip to Grand Assembly, by bus, to Evansville, Indiana, June 26 thru June 30. Several members and adults planned to attend. Following the ritualistic closing, the Drill leader was asked to invite the special guests, the fathers, into the Assembly room, to be honored for Fathers’ Day. Each girl whose father was pres^ ent, greeted her father, presented him a gift and thanked him for something special he did for her. Many of the thank yous given (brought tears not only to the father, but to the crowded sideliners. During the social hour refreshments were served by Mrs. Jasper Elkin and Mrs. Robert Hillman.
