Venable wants to remind drivers that laws vary from state to state and when in other states drivers should be sure of the law before turning on the red light. According to Marsh, the law stresses caution and drivers are reminded that the right turn on red after stop is only permitted when cross traffic allows, Thi is n<>t a right but a iiiwilege t save the driver time and gas.
