Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schmeltz was in Mich.gan City Tue-day to spend the day with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Jones. Mrs. Fayette Dunn visited her son Dennis and family, of West Lafayette, recently and white there attended the graduating ex. ercises of her grandson, Bramey, from high school. Mrs. Jerry Tom, of Hop-lulu, is spending several weeks here with Mrs. Ellen Brede at hethome on Koontz Lake. Mrs. Brede's brother Charles Wilkins will be here for a short time also. Mr. and Mrs. W S. Cramner returned home last Wednesday from a two week visit with their daughter, Lois Zenger, and family, in Haddam, Kansas. On May 26. Mr. Cramner's graduating class celebrated their 50th reunion and out of 32 graduates, 12 are deceased and six were unable to attend. This was the first reun. ion of the class since graduation. Both the Cramnerg attended the reunion.

Their son Mike attended an Animal Science Workshop at Purdue this week. Open house was held Sunaay in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Kaufman and family for their son David, who was a graduate from LaPorte High School and they also celebrated the 23rd wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Kaufman. There were 159 guests present to enjoy the occasion, from Chicago, Lansing, Hammond, LaPorte and Walkerton.

Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Norton, of Otsego, Michigan, were Saturday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Alex Kuklinski.
