Bloom, ington, died at 4:10 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the Blooming, ton Hospital. She was bom in Providence in Johnson County, Indiana, December 30, 1883, to Jesse and Sarah Catherine Lessig Smith. She was united in marriage on September 15. 1901, to Rev. Ernest Linton. They have served several pastorates in Indiana for the Christian Church. Survivors include' her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Gladys) Schrader, of Bloom.ngton; one granddaughter, Mrs. Bryce (Barbara ) Rohrer, Walkerton, a grandson, Dr. Carl Schrader, Flagstaff, Ariz< na; and seven great-grand-children. / fl Mrs Linton was a member of the First Christian Church, Bloomington, and was formerly a Sunday School superintendent. Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. April 17 at the First Christian Church, in Plc mington with burial in the Old Bethlehem Cemetery. Morgantown, Indiana. Mrs. Verdia A. Wood Mrs. Verdia A. Wood, 66, route 3, Walkerton, died at 5:10 pm. April 11 in Osteopathic Hospital, South Bend, after an extended illness. She was horn December 2 1907, in Johnson Township and was a lifetime resident of the ar. ea. On September 18, 1926, in DaPorte, she was married to Rush U Wood, who died February 26. 1969.
