Mrs. Velma Stahly was an Easter day guest of her friend, Miss Luretta Davis, in LaPorte, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Johnson and family, of Gi overtown, were Sunday evening visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Everett Baker and their guests. Ms. Phyllis Emmons Stradley, Rhode Island, i< tinned last Thuis. day to visit her parents. Mr. and Mrs Chester Emmons, Plymouth, formerly of Walkerton. Mr. Emmons has been ill for several weeks and is in the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. Recent guests of Mrs. Mamie Mackin were Mi. and Mrs. Donaid Peroutka, of Kenosha. Wise.; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Peroutka, cf Waterman, Illinois; and Miss Linda Peroutka, of Libertyville. Illinois. These guests came to help Mras. Mackin cele rate her 82nd birthday. Other visitors to remind her of the special day were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Bowers and Mr. and Mrs. Gus Schultz.. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dickson, of Koontz Lake, returned home on Monday from Wilmington, Deleware, where they visited with her niece, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Forsha and family. They also visited her sister who is in a nursing home there and she was a guest for Easter dmner in the Forsha home. Mrs. Jane Kuklinski and Mrs. Bea Shogren will b<- the hostesses for the Koontz. Lake Conservation Club carry-in dinner on Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the club house. On Friday evening, April 19. at 7:30 pm., the club will have their business meeting at the club house and the members are urged to attend. On Easter Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Herald Hostetler were hosts fur the Hostetler families and the G iheen families with Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Hochstetler, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hostetler and Mr. and Mis. Wayne Hostetler and family for a covered dish dinner. There were 70 present to enjoy the dgy and in the afternoon the entire group went to Stuntz Pine Forest where the youngsters enjoyed the.r annual Easter egg hunt w.th prizes given for special eggs that were found. As usual it was an enjoyable day for the entire group. Guests were from Evanston. 11l , Plymiouth. Tyner, Mich, igan City and Walkerton.
Walter Gorsline was dismissed from the LaPorte Hospital where he had been for more than a month.
