Mr. and Mrs. Jack Morehouse, Toledo, Ohio, were Saturday dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kurzhal. Afternoon visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Haskins, of Lake, ville. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman entertained the following guests at a birthday party in honor of Chester Thayer, who was celebrating his Mth birthday. Guests present were Mrs. Thayer, Mi. and Mrs. Donald Teter, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Teter, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Teter and family, all of Mishawaka; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schmeltz, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stoneburner, Mrs. J. C. Milner, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Pippenger, all of near Walkerton; and Mr. and Mrs Gene Patrick and Tam. my. All enjoyed contests after which home made ice cream and cake was served and the honored guest received many gifts. a special thrill and surprise was a telephone call from Chester’s grandson, Dennis Sheneman, from Whittier, California.

Mrs. Dorothj Overmyer showed pictures and told us abut the trip that they had taken to Ausrailia in 1970. Refreshments were served buffet style from a salad bar decorated in the Raggedy Ann and Andy theme.
