ENROLLMENT SET AT WALKERTON ELEMENTARY Th (re will be a meeting for parents and children eligible to enroll for kindergarten during the 1974-75 school year April 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Walkerton Elementary School. To be eligible a child must be 5 years of age on or It efire August 31. Children who have not had kindergarten and will be 6 on or before August 31 may be pre-registered at this time also. He nth examination and immunization forms, which parents should present to the physician at exammat.on time, may be obtained from the school during preregistration. Proof of age with a legal birth certificate (one from the health department of the county in wh.ch the child was born) is re. quired, either now or in the t UI when children are enrlled. The health and immunization forms are to be returned to the <ch<x l in September when classes begin. Drug Abuse Program To Be Presented The Walkerton Jaycees will sponsor a Drug Abuse Program this Tuesday, April 16 at 7:00 p m at the American legion Post Home, located on Indiana Street, Walkerton The program will be conducted in cooperation with the Indiana State Police with state trooper Dennis Navarre making the presentat.on It will lx* followed I y a discussion period. Due to the stark realities of the film, no one under lx will be admitted to view this unless accompanied by a parent. Project cha.rman is Steve Jacobson and the Walkerton Jaycees urge Walkerton area residents to attend this eve-popping program.
