ENROLLMENT SET AT WALKERTON ELEMENTARY There will be a meeting for parents and children eligible to enroll for kindergarten during the 1974.75 school year April 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Walkerton Elemen. tary School. To be eligible a child must be 5 years of age on or tiefire August 31. Children who have not had kindergarten and will be 6 on or before August 31 may be pre-registered at this time also. Health examination and Immunization forms, which parents should present to the physician at examination time, may be obtained from the school during pre. registration. Proof of age with a legal birth certificate (one from the health department of the county in which the child was born i is required, either now or in the fall when children are enrolled. Lemert. 85, route 1, Walkerton, d.ed at 12:15 p m., March 27 at St. Joseph Hospital. South Bend, after being in fading health several years. He was a Brethren minister more than 50 years and was a retired school teacher. Kev. Lemert was born July 8. 1888 at Teegarden to Charles and Cora McCombs Lemert and had lived in the Tyner-Koontz Like area most of his hfe. He spent his winters in Florida for the past 25 years Rev. Immert was a member of the National Brethren .Ministerial Association, the National Retired Teachers Association and the In. ternational Brotherhood of Magicians. He was preceded in death by three wives: Lydia Johnson, Vivian Brooke and Olga Herbert. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Oliver (Carol) Mandeville, South Bend; Mrs. Richard (Thelma) Ruff, Walkerton; Mrs Carl (Fredonna) Bergstrom, Grovertown; and Ora C. Ix’mert Jr., North Liberty; one brother Millard Lemret, Teegarden; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services were conducted at 10:30 am., Saturday, at the First Brethren Church of Teegarden, with Rev. Claude StogsdiH, o f Warsaw, and Rev James Gilmer, of Teegarden, officiating Burial was at the Center-Polk Cemetery in Polk Township. Mrs. Harley G. Wiseman Mrs Lois I. Wiseman, 64, of 1821 N. Brookfield St., died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital after a five week ill. ness. She was a retired employee of the former Wilson Brothers Co. EASTER EGG HUNT SET FOR WALKERTON The Walkerton Volunteer Fire Department will hold the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Place Park on Saturday afternoon, April 13, with the hunt to get underway at 2 o'clock. The rain date will be on Sunday. April 14 also at 2:00 p.m. All children up to and including 12 years old are welcome to join in the hunt. Cash Dr.zes will be awarded. Egger, M D., Middle, town, Ind., was installed as president of the Indiana Academy of Family Physio.ans at the gr< .p’s 26th annual Scientific Session. Dr. Egger was born in North Liberty on March 24, 1937. the second of five children. He at. tendtxl gride school and high school in North Li erty and was a four letterman in sports. He practiced medicine and resided at Middletown through 196 s and then opened an office at route 1, Daleville and has practiced family medicine at that address s.nce. He presently resides with hi wife, Noralynn, two daughters and two sons at Middletown.
