The Koontz Lake Conservation Club will not have their regular Saturday evening supper due to the bake sale earlier in the day. They will hold their regular monthly business meeting on Friday night at the club house with the proceedings to get underway

Mrs. Charles Kincaid, Aurora, Colorado, received i kidney transplant on Friday evemng of hist week in the VA Hospital, in Denver. The transplant was amxously awaited for five years. The kidney is functioning normally. Mrs. Kincaid is the daughter-in-law of Mr and Mrs. Mac McNor. ton, Walkerton. Cameron Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Clark, celebrated his fifth birthday on Sunday with the following guests present to wish h.m well on Sunday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Al Drews. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Zumbaugh. of Plymouth; Mr. and Mrs. David Drews and son and Mr. and Mrs. John Drews and daughter. A combined birthday dinner and supper was held on Sunday at the Gus Verkier home honoring Gus and R indy Verkler for their birthdays. A beautiful four leaf clover birthday cake was baked and decorated by Mrs. Randy Verkler. Homemade ice cream was enjoyed m the afternoon.
