Sunday at State Road 4 and Taylor Road, near Fish Lake, in LaPorte County. The eastbound car she was driving was struck head on by a westbound pick-up truck driven by Paul Bodie, route 3, I-aDnte. LaPoite County Police, who invest.gated the accident, charged Bixlie with driving without an operator’s license. Deputy county coroner Lewis Juday pronounced Mrs. Piotrowicz dead at the scene due to a broken neck. Mis. Piotrowicz was an employ, ee of American Home Foods Corp, of LaPorte. She was born De. eemlx r 31, 1922. at LaPorte, and had lived in the area most of her life. She was married April 10, 1948, at LaPorte. to Stanley Pio. trowicz, who survives. She was a member of St. Anthony's Cathol.c Church, Fish Lake. Also surviving are five children: Gerald, of Kalamazoo. Mich.; Jody and Stanley, of Fish Lake; Mrs. Julia Kautz and Mrs. Shir, ley Welch, b ith of LaPorte; eight g: andchildn n; her parents, Mr. and Mis Gunnard Peterson, Roll, mg Piairic; ix brothers; Adolph, of Mountain View. was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. Nestor Kiryluk Services for Nestor Kiryluk, 80, rente 1 Grovertown, were conducted at 10:00 mm. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Walkerton, with Rev. Anthony Letko, pastor, officiating. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery. Walker, ton. Mr Kiryluk died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday at his home alter an illness of one year. A retired blacksmith. he was born Odd er 27, 1893, in Poland and came to Grovertown 15 years ago from Chicago. He was a member of St. Patr,ck's Catholic Church. He was married in 1921 in Poland to Agnes Kita, who survives. Also surviving are six daughters and 12 grandchildren. MU 4- Nellie Small Mrs. Nellie M. Smau, cl, route 1, Grovertown. d.ed at 2:15 a.in.. Sunday at Starke County's Memorial Hospital, Knox, after a seven year illness. She was born S.ptemlxr 6. 1*92, at Tipton, and came to Grovertown 23 years ago from Chicago. She was married Ft bi nary 28, 1909. at Tipton to George Small, who survives. Also surviving are f.ve children: 11 grandchildren; 15 great.grand, children and three great-great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Pannell's Funeral Home. Hamlet, with Rev. Ernest Giant, officiating. Burial was at the Grovertown Cemetery. Mi*l, Faina Heffernan Mrs. Edna Heffernan, 76, of Koontz Lake, route 3. Walkerton, was found dead in her home about 1:00 p.m. Saturday. She had been de id since late Wednesday, according to Starke County Coroner. D. Rannels. She was born on November 15, 189*. in Chicago and came to Walkerton nine years ago from

She was born January 22. 1904, to William and Wilhemnia (Ruttschow) Emberger. She had lived in Walkerton 30 years, coming from Niles, Michigan.
