SHAMROCKS WIN OPENER OVER MENTONE 80-70 The North Liberty Shamrocks inveiled their 1973-74 version of lasketball Tuesday, November 27, and the team won their opening game by beating Mentone by a -core of 60-70 on the Shamrocks' home court. The scoring was well balanced with four players m double i.gmea. Senior guard Chris Gensinger pat m 23 points on nine basnets and live fiee throws tor top honoi.n Dave Sheaks followed with 14 and Allan Ku r and Kurt Hunt each had 10 points.
